June 21, 2004). Yahoo has changed
the format of its web site since the publication of Release 1.0. The revised file gives current directions for
downloading Project 2 stock records.

Student Notebook Update. New screen captures of Slides 98, 100, 101, and 103 from MBD 1
Proj 2.ppt are available to update pages 160-162 of the Student
Notebook. (Posted on November
23, 2005.) These
slides are correctly shown in the e-text CD, and no modification of the file is
required. The captures
are provided in both Word and PDF forms. Both files can be downloaded in a
self-extracting Zipped file, marketing.exe. When you have downloaded the Zipped file, simply double
left click on the file to start the extraction process.
File Clean Up. (Modified on May 5, 2006) This utility contains a PowerPoint macro which will remove a small number of typographical
errors and other anomalies from the course files: MBD Part 1.ppt, MBD 1
Proj 1.ppt, and MBD 1 Proj 2.ppt from
Release 1.5. The file can be downloaded
in a self-extracting Zipped file cu_mbd1_152.exe. When you have downloaded the Zipped file, simply double
left click on the file to start the extraction process. Open the extracted PowerPoint file and follow the given instructions.

Queuing Files (Modified on July 1, 2005). Issues with the simulation of queues for 2
ATM’s are resolved by downloading new versions of Queue Focus.xls and MBD
1a Proj 2.ppt. Since these are
large files, they are downloaded in a self-extracting Zipped file, queue.exe. When you have downloaded the Zipped file,
simply double left click on the file
to start the extraction of Queue Focus.xls and MBD
1a Proj 2.ppt. These files
are used in Project 2.

in the above Queuing Files download. The utility can be downloaded in a
self-extracting Zipped file cu_mbd1a_152a.exe. When you have downloaded the Zipped file, simply double
left click on the file to start the extraction process. Open the extracted PowerPoint file and follow the given instructions.

Auction Equilibrium.xls (Modified on November 5, 2004). Random number generation in Excel 2003 runs much more slowly than it
has in earlier versions. The revised
file has been redesigned to run more efficiently than the standard Release
1.0 file. Although this is of
primary importance in Excel 2003, you
will experience improved performance with any version of Excel. Since Auction
Equilibrium.xls is a large file, it is downloaded in a self-extracting Zipped file, auction.exe. When you have downloaded the Zipped file,
simply double left click on the file
to start the extraction of Auction Equilibrium.xls. The file is used in Project 2.
